THE ROYAL WEDDING

Pictures of women getting their hair done or guy's fighting with their tux's just didn't seem interesting (not without sound anyway), so I thought that this might be a good time to give you a little background on the bride and groom.

Stephanie and John met while attending the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Both were very active in the Campus Ministry, where Father Thomas Krieg (Fr. Tom) likes to think they met. Both were also very active in the Stout band program. Dr. Stephanie Graber, the band director, likes to think of herself as the "matchmaker". Somehow, I think Stephanie and John like to think they had at least a little something to do with this too. Whatever, in the end everybody was happy. Stephanie and John got each other. Fr. Tom precided over the ceremony. Dr. Graber flew in from her summer retreat just to lead and play with the musical group of friends from the band and ministry that played and sang so beautifully at the wedding.

Sorry for getting a little sidetracked. Back to Stephanie and John. Along with their love for one another, their deep religious faith, their love for music, they share many other interests. Now for those of you that are thinking "likes" repel and "opposites" attract, and this match must be doomed because all you've heard are the "likes", let me try to ease your minds. First, Stephanie is from Wisconsin (Packers) and John is from Minnesota (Vikings). John is a big city boy, Stephanie a small town girl. John can live nicely on pizza, french fries, and Mountain Dew. Stephanie is a dietitian. Everybody feeling better now?
